The project is funded by the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP), a global knowledge and technical assistance program administered by the World Bank. WPN is partnering with Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and 3E, a Belgian company, on this wind resource mapping project. Ten met masts for collecting wind data have been installed throughout the country to produce a Wind Atlas of Nepal by 2020.
