Supervision, Data Monitoring and Assessment for ESMAP Supported Renewable Energy Resource Mapping Project – 2018

With an aim of creating a meso-scale wind map of Nepal for commercial viability of wind farm, Technical University of Denmark (DTU) with support from World Bank and Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC), Government of Nepal is carrying out the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP) wind resource mapping in ten different areas of Nepal.

WindPower Nepal conducted assessment, of the current status of the project, setting a methodological procedure for Monitoring and Analysis of the data retrieved from the project from the accomplished project sites, and providing consultation for implementation of the project in the remaining sites. The client of the project was AEPC.
